Updated 18 August 2026 · applies to the Dump app for iOS
In short: Dump does not collect personal data. No accounts, no analytics, no ads. Your tasks are stored only on your device.
None. The app works without registration. We do not collect your name, email, contacts, location or device identifiers, and we do not build advertising profiles.
Task text, tags, duration estimates and settings are saved locally on your device using iOS facilities. We have no access to them. If you have iCloud Backup enabled, a copy of the app's data goes into your iCloud and is protected by your Apple account — under Apple's rules, not ours.
Voice input starts only when you tap the microphone button. Recognition uses the iOS system speech engine: part of the processing may happen on Apple's servers in accordance with Apple's privacy policy. We neither receive nor store audio recordings — only the recognized text reaches the app, where it becomes a task on your device.
You can revoke microphone access at any time in Settings → Dump. The app keeps working with keyboard input.
If you allow notifications, reminders are scheduled locally on your device. No push servers or external services are involved.
The app contains no analytics SDKs, trackers or ad networks. We do not sell or share data with third parties, because we have no data.
The app is not specifically directed at children under 13, and it collects no data from anyone, children included.
If the policy changes, we will update it on this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be reflected in the update notes on the App Store.
